With almost two decades of experience in global supply chain management, Colin is a MCIPS qualified lecturer, currently undertaking an MBA at Aberdeen University, and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and industry experience with his students. His in-depth knowledge of the challenges the industry presents makes him one of the best possible professionals to deliver CIPS accredited training, providing logical advice for best practice and smarter supply chain management.

An accomplished Head of Group Operations Quality, with complete command of the S&OP processes of a national B2B/B2C business, with MCIPS award, a Level 5 Diploma in Supply Chain Operations, PRINCE2 Foundation, ILM Level 3 Leadership & Management and extensive training in Lean Six Sigma and supply chain processes. A progressive individual, with proven skills in reducing inventory and activating cost-reductions, and the capability to lead 60+ strong teams through operational elements. Exposure to all facets of the supply chain from demand forecasting and supplier negotiations through to customer service queries and satisfaction. With over four decades of experience in consultancy, operational and management positions, Allan has first hand knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes in a wide range of sectors. Holding a wealth of industry qualifications including a masters degree in policy, strategy and tactics, a masters degree in supply chain management, and a fellow membership of CIPS, Allan is highly influential and passionate about mentoring students in supply chain best practice.

Helen Campbell, DipT

Teaching Support

With three decades of secondary school teaching experience, almost twenty years of experience as a PGDE student placement supervisor and a mentor for newly qualified teachers, Helen is a fantastic support to Lean Procurement and our students. Helen continues to nurture positive partnerships with Aberdeen University and holds a wide network of contacts within the academic institutions in the region.
